GENERAL INFORMATION

Our Fees and Payments
For organizations / corporate clients, a cost-effective corporate rate structure with a customized reservation process can be arranged to fit your needs, and a simple invoicing procedure will be worked into your system. The rates will be determined after discussing your specific transportation requirements, and take into account such things as passenger volume, routes serviced, appointment times, frequency and additional variables.

For individual rides, our services are provided on a fee-for-service basis and are booked and paid for via major credit card. Our drivers do not handle any monetary transactions. Rates are dependent upon the routes serviced, frequency, days, times and other variables, and will be reviewed with you at the time of the reservation. You will be sent a credit card receipt in the mail.

“No-Show” Policy
Reservations that are cancelled or changed with less than two business hours notice prior to the scheduled pick up time, will incur a to-be-determined “no-show” charge, which will not exceed the one-way fee for the scheduled route. When a passenger is a “no-show” for the first ride, the return ride will automatically be cancelled unless we are informed otherwise.

Notes on making your reservations with Chicago Disability Transit

  • Have all of the dates, addresses, times and whether the passenger is ambulatory or requires a wheelchair accessible vehicle available at the time of your reservation.
  • Have your corporate account information or credit card handy.
  • Specify if there will be an escort(s) riding with the scheduled passenger. There is a small surcharge per escort.
  • Provide us with an emergency phone contact or cell phone number.
  • Be sure to inform us of any special needs.
  • Operators are available to take your reservations during regular business hours.
  • All roundtrip rides must have scheduled pick-up times for both the appointment and the return ride, or be scheduled as a “will-call.” The return ride time must be solidified during regular business hours.
  • Standing orders are welcome.
